George Poveromo Talks About JL Audio

There’s only one name when it comes to top-of-the-line marine sound systems, and that’s JL Audio. I’ve been enjoying a JL Audio system in my MARC VI for three years now, and can’t say enough about its crispness, clarity and “punch”! In short, it rocks. With a brand new MARC VI on the way in February, I had the good fortune of having JL Audio’s Alan Wenzel walk through a Mako 284 model, so he could design a package specifically for my boat. The “new” MARC VI will sport three pairs of JL Audio’s MX 7.7” co-axial speakers, and two MX 10” subwoofers powered by one M600/6 and one M600/1 marine grade amplifier. According to Alan, the system will “make a statement!”. I can’t wait. The only problem I foresee is haggling with my 14 year old daughter, Megan, over whether to play her hip hop music or my classic rock!
